National Day of Mourning

Earlier this week the Federal Government announced a holiday for a National Day of Mourning on September 19, 2022, to honour the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. While this will be a holiday for federal government employees, it is not a statutory holiday for federally regulated employers such as Nav Canada. Nav Canada will not be providing you with a paid holiday on Monday September 19, 2022.

Jour de deuil national

Plus tôt cette semaine, le gouvernement fédéral a annoncé un jour férié pour un jour de deuil national le 19 septembre 2022, pour honorer le décès de la Reine Elizabeth II. Bien que ce soit un jour férié pour les employés du gouvernement fédéral, ce n'est pas un jour férié pour les employeurs sous réglementation fédérale comme Nav Canada. Nav Canada ne vous offrira pas de congé payé le lundi 19 septembre 2022.
