CANSA has been working closely with Nav Canada on the changing developments since the coronavirus outbreak. In the past week there has been several communications from Nav Canada to all employees describing new precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all employees and their families. We will continue to collaborate with Nav Canada to ensure that all members receive up to date information as the situation changes on the coronavirus outbreak.
CANSA is asking all members to be extra vigilant in your efforts to limit the spread of infection. Some advice from local and national public health authorities are: Wash your hands often and thoroughly, keep your hands away from your face, and cover your nose and mouth with your elbow when coughing or sneezing.
No one should enter their workplace if they are experiencing symptoms of the flu or COVID-19.
Emergency management response teams at the national and local level have been assembled and are meeting on a regular basis to keep everyone up to date. As the coronavirus situation is evolving very quickly expect frequent updates from Nav Canada. Currently the medium for distributing information is Nav Canada email. If you are not receiving email communications, contact your local manager or CANSA Regional Vice President for the most up to date precautionary measures.
If you have any questions, contact your local manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) or request information through your local RVP.
